  • What if I don't have a way to get to Nuevo Dia ADHC?

We got you covered! At Nuevo Dia ADHC we provide transportation from your home to our Center, and back home again. This also includes being driven to your doctor appointments or the grocery store.

  • How do I qualify?

Adult Day Health Care services (ADHC) must be approved by your primary doctor. If you believe you qualify for Adult Day Health Care services please talk with your doctor. Some examples of qualifications may include:

- If you have a medical condition that requires you to have daily assistance from a licensed nurse.

- If you need help with your day to day life activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, etc.

- If you need physical, occupational, or speech therapy.

If you have any questions about this process please do not hesitate to call us. We will try to provide an easier-to-understand explanation of the eligibility criteria in English or Spanish.

  • Do I need to be 65 or older to join the center?

No, we provide services to adults that qualify, based on their doctor's recommendation and needs.

  • How are all these services paid for?

We work with health insurance companies to cover the expenses of the Adult Day Care program services. For those who may not be covered under their health insurance, other forms of payments are available.
